Advisory for Indian nationals travelling to Egypt (11 May 2021)

The following is brought to the knowledge of Indian travellers/arrivals to Egypt:

As per the new guidelines, a rapid DNA test (ID NOW) for all international arrivals to Egypt from countries where COVID-19 mutants have emerged is being conducted at all points of entry into Egypt. Travellers found COVID positive as per the test will either be returned to their point of departure or will be isolated for at least 14 days.
