Local Festivals

MACIC participated in a number of local festivals and Cultural events held in Egypt in 2022, as detailed under the link “Visit of Cultural Troupes”. These include participation in the International Festival for Drum and Traditional Arts held in May 2024 at Cairo Citadel, the International Citadel Festival for Singing & Music’ on 19 August 2024 at Saladin Citadel, Cairo and International Festivals for Chanting and Spiritual Music (SAMAA) organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.

  • MACIC also participated in 'International Cultural Festival' at Dandy Mega Mall, in 6th October City, Cairo on 17 June 2022, 3rd World Children's Festival organized by Ministry of Youth & Sports held at Ministry on 15 October 2022.

  • In 2023, MACIC actively participated in "Exhibition for Handicrafts & Heritage Artifacts" organized by Community Development and Environment Welfare, Giza Governorate and in the “International Day of Peace” organized by UNESCO Future Builders Club, at Arab Council for Childhood & Development.

  • MACIC participated in the closing ceremony of the 14th edition of the Cairo International Animation Festival at Al-Hanager Theatre, Cairo Opera House, and in the International Charity Day at the Military Attaches Association, Cairo on November 15, 2023. Recently, a Kathak team and Bollywood group performed in the International Drum Festival for Traditional Arts in May 2024.
